FOREWORD
Nowadays it is possible to notice among the Karaites the increase of national awareness, as well as the efforts to teach their own religion and history.
However, it is important to mention that on the book market there are no sources available which would be able to cause an interest in our Karaite children about our own history and about the Law of God.
For this reason, I devoted this work, which contains the brief information about our history and about the foundations of the Karaite religion, to our Karaite children who need this sort of brief and understandable textbook.
I will honestly appreciate each effort to correct my mistakes in this publication.
