Crete Island - Levka Ori (White Mountanis)

All these photos were taken during the end of April and the beginning of May in 2008. Most of them  have origin in the track along the E4 route between the village of Ammoudari (altitude of 715m) on the Askifou Plateau, and the plateau of Niátos (alt. of 1230m). The track continued then along the old mule track - a connection between above mentioned Niátos (or more precisely, the Askifou Plateau under Niátos) and another important plateau (above the southern cost) - Anopolis. Some of photos were also taken along the coastal part of the E4 route between the village of Agia Roumeli (lower end of the most known Cretean gorge of Samária) and a holiday destination of Loutro (eastwards, about 3hrs of walking from Agia Roumeli).
