Summer Crop Top instructions
The top is crochet as a one part!
The pattern uses only basic crochet stitches - chains and double crochets.
This top is crochet from the bottom up and you just need to measure the body circumference and crochet the body part accordingly.
The direction shown are for girls size (8 years) but can be easily converted into bigger size or smaller size girls size – just by crocheting more or less rows - the bottom part according to the circumference of your body.

For this girls size you will need:

For this pattern you will need 4.00 mm crochet hook.

Pattern Notes

1) Before you start take a measurement of height of your kids body and a body measurement (please see the final measurement of the crop top below).

2) This pattern is for child size, girl 8 years old, but you can easily adapt to a smaller size or bigger size just by reducing or increasing the number of rows. Remember that when making your crop top bigger you will need more yarn.

3) A Ch 3 at beg of the row counts as dc throughout and each rounds ends with slip stitch placed in 3rd chain from beg

4) The crop top is made as a one part with 2 string around body and 2 strings around neck.

5) The crop top is made with 3 colour:

A) violet

B) white

C) blue

Difficulty Level: Level 1 – Easy, for beginners

US crochet term:

SlSt – slip stitch
CH/s – chain/s
DC - double crochet
SK - skip
T - turn
ST/s - stitch(es)
REP - repeat
YO – yarn over

Special technic:

5 DC Cluster Stitch instructions:
Yarn over and insert the hook always into the stitch where you are creating your puff stitch. Yarn over again and pull through 2 loops. There will be 2 loops on the hook.
Repeat 4 more times. Each time adds 1 more loop to the hook. There will be 6 loops on the hook for a dc puff stitch. Yarn over and pull through all 6 loops on the hook. Finish with chain one.  An extra chain stitch is often used to secure the puff stitch firmly.

5 DC Cluster stitch / Puff stitch = in the same space placed 5dc cluster (5dc together), ch1

You can customize your fit based on how oversized you would like the garment to be. The top is worked from bottom to top, so additional rows in the panel give you additional length and extra stitches give you additional width.
